Please note, the Friends AGM will be on Weds 11th April 2012 at 6pm Committee Toom 3, The Civic Offices. The business including the re-election of Executive committee members will be followed by a short presentation and refreshments.

Candidates are sought for the position of TREASURER, CHAIR and VICE-CHAIR. If you would like to attend but are not currently a member please notify us by 4th April if you wish to attend to allow for catering requirements. Thank you.

Recently the Friends have teamed up with Telford & Wrekin Council and the Shropshire Bat Conservation Group and assisted with the production and erection of over 20 bat and bird boxes for the Town Park. The Friends are regularly involved in Bat walks and guided tours through the park as well as conservation and improvements to wildlife habitats - of which the bat boxes are a great example.
