One of our highlights from the last year was winning the premier award of Best UK Park at the annual Fields in Trust awards in December. Speaking immediately after receiving the award, Friends Chair Chris Pettman said ” This is terrific news for Telford. The Town park is a tremendous asset for the town and we regularly meet people who have travelled from all over the Midlands just to spend the day in the park with their children. Much of the credit for that goes to Nicola Allen and her staff and it’s really great to have that recognised by this award”.
